Course description
The course aims to equip PhD students with the skills to describe, apply and discuss qualitative content analysis as a research method related to: historical and epistemological development, its relevance for different research questions as well as quality criteria relevant for the review of the credibility of the research study.
Requirements and Selection
Entry requirements
Admitted to postgraduate education and completed Part I in qualitative methods or equivalent.
Selection
Selection is performed according to the following:
- PhD students at Sahlgrenska Academy,
- PhD students enrolled at another university within a formal collaborative agreement on doctoral education with Sahlgrenska Academy,
- PhD students enrolled at another faculty at the University of Gothenburg or another university in Sweden,
- PhD students enrolled at a university outside Sweden.
