Course description

The course covers key parts of the research process including (1) research design, (2) quantitative data collection techniques such as survey research and content analysis, as well as (3) bivariate and multivariate statistical analysis. It has a specific focus on applications of these methods relevant to the field of journalism, media and communication.

To enter the course students have to be registered in a PhD programme.

Selection

The course is only open for Phd-students at JMG and students within the TRAIN-network (Malmö, Lund, Karlstad, Örebro, Uppsala, Södertörn, Stockholm, Sundsvall och Umeå ).
