Course description
A geographic information system (GIS) is a system designed to capture, store, manipulate, analyze, manage and present spatial or geographic data. As many research areas include a spatial component, skills and understanding of how to best process and analyze this type of spatial data are crucial to being a successful researcher.
In this course, you will learn basic Geographic Information Technology (GIT) programming and concepts to perform automated processes and techniques to effectivelyyour use of geographic data in your research.
