Course description
The course deals with the two postgraduate subjects Nordic languages ??and multilingualism from a historical perspective. The subjects' common historical background is described, as is the development of the subject of multilingualism into a separate postgraduate subject. The course thus provides both a general understanding of the history and development of the two subjects, but also a more specific insight into how the subjects have developed in Sweden. The course discusses and compares different research directions, central theories and methodological approaches.
